By accessing or using YouHelp's volunteer matching platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our platform.

• Communication facilitation between volunteers and nonprofits

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use our platform, you must create an account using Google OAuth. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain and update your information as needed
• Keep your account secure
• Be responsible for all activity under your account

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use our platform. Users under 18 should have parental guidance when volunteering.

User Responsibilities

Volunteers

• Communicate honestly with nonprofit organizations
• Honor commitments made to volunteer opportunities
• Follow safety guidelines and instructions from nonprofits
• Treat all individuals with respect and dignity
• Report any concerns or issues to YouHelp or the nonprofit

Nonprofit Organizations

• Provide accurate opportunity descriptions
• Maintain current 501(c)(3) tax-exempt status
• Ensure safe environments for volunteers
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respond promptly to volunteer inquiries

Prohibited Activities

You may not use our platform to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent information
• Harass, abuse, or discriminate against others
• Spam or send unsolicited communications
• Attempt to access unauthorized areas of the platform
• Use automated tools to scrape or collect data
• Impersonate others or create fake accounts
• Distribute malware or malicious content

Platform Availability

We strive to maintain platform availability but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We reserve the right to:

• Modify or discontinue services with reasonable notice
• Perform maintenance that may temporarily affect availability
• Suspend accounts that violate these Terms
• Update platform features and functionality

Intellectual Property

YouHelp Content

All content on our platform, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned by YouHelp Inc. or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

User Content

You retain ownership of content you submit but grant YouHelp a license to use it for platform operations and improvements.

Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your information.

By using our platform, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

Disclaimers and Limitations

Platform Disclaimer

YouHelp provides a matching service but does not:

• Employ volunteers or nonprofit staff
• Control volunteer activities or nonprofit operations
• Guarantee the quality or safety of opportunities
• Assume liability for volunteer-nonprofit interactions

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, YouHelp Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the platform.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless YouHelp Inc. from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the platform or violation of these Terms.

Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time:

• By You: Delete your account through your profile settings
• By Us: For violation of these Terms or at our discretion

Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease, but these Terms will remain in effect for applicable provisions.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

• Posting updated Terms on our website
• Updating the "Last updated" date
• Sending email notification for significant changes

Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts with jurisdiction over YouHelp Inc.
